Character Name: Madeline Elaine Pierce
Character Age: 11
Character DOB: July 15, 2000
Character Blood: halfblood
Character Personality: Madeline is very booksmart. Because she was partially homeschooled during her early years (see the history for more), she has a decent IQ. She comes across as very shy, regardless of who she meets and how long she's met them. There are times when she's more open to conversations and whatnot, but she'd rather not speak to anyone unless called upon. She has a teeny bit of a mean streak, especially when confronted by a bully. She sticks up for herself, but she does it by using actions, not words. Madeline sometimes gets upset when things don't go her way, and it shows when she throws mini-fits.

Character History: Madeline was born almost very normally. She is the youngest of three children - her brothers, who are identical twins, are third year students at Hogwarts - and she was, in every way, very different than her older siblings. She was partially homeschooled when she was little, mainly because her family wanted to teach her a little bit more than what the school was teaching her. (It would help on tests and quizzes, when she'd pass most of them with high marks.) The fact that she was homeschooled, however, made her social life a bit hard. Madeline was socially inept most of the time, becoming a shy person once she got used to doing two different systems. When she was nine, she watched as her twin brothers were sent off to Hogwarts for the first time, when they got the letters in the post. Madeline wished to join them one day, and the letter she got two years later seemingly sealed her fate.

"Dad! Daaaaaad," Madeline screamed; pushing her cart of belongings towards the train. "This is amazing! A whole new world has opened up in front of my eyes. I'm going to be a witch!"
Her father and brothers were thankful that she was on Platform Nine and Three Quarters when she said that, as most people on the muggle platform would have no clue what was going on. Her mother was waiting for them on the other side of the bricks, wondering what was taking so long for her children to board. Even after two years of watching her sons run through the wall, she was still a bit nervous. What happens to my kids if they don't get on the train? We can't get them to the school before the term starts...
Madeline's brothers carefully escorted her to the train, and her father rushed over to give her a hug. "You'll do fine. Your stuff is going to be on the train in a little bit," he said, giving his daughter a kiss on the cheek . "Remember to follow your brothers' commands. Don't run around like you own the place, okay?"
The young girl nodded in approval. "Don't worry, Dad," Madeline said. "I'll do fine. I promise."
