Department of Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures Located on the fourth level. The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures is the second largest Department in the Ministry. It is divided into three divisions named after the three categorizations of magical creatures: Being, Beast and Spirit. It also houses the liaison offices for Goblins and Centaurs. Department of International Magical Cooperation Located on the fifth level. The International Magical Cooperation tries to get wizards from different countries to cooperate. The British seats on the International Confederation of Wizards are based here, as are offices that regulate international magical law. Includes the International Magical Trading Standards Body, the International Magical Office of Law and the International Confederation of Wizards British Seats. Moderator: Professor Brendan Daylor |

Department of Magical Games and Sports Located on the seventh level. This department was formed in response to the signing of the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy in 1692, when each individual Ministry became responsible for the consequences of all magical sports played within their countries. The current affairs of the department have to do with such sports-related pastimes as organizing the Quidditch World Cup and the Triwizard Tournament. Department of Mysteries Located on the ninth level. It is the section of the Ministry of Magic that carries out confidential research. Most of its operations are carried out in total secrecy. Few wizards within the Ministry actually know what is located within this department. Those wizards who work in the Department of Mysteries are known as Unspeakable because of the confidential nature of their work. Includes the Space Chamber, Death Chamber and the Time Chamber.
