GRAND OPENING

Awesome! Hello there everyone, my name is Austin and I play Headmaster Brendan Daylor here on "A New Hogwarts". I just want to announce that this here will be our grand opening to the site. Along with this we have included a brand new skin and design all thanks to our lovely Evelyn Francis (Kerry) with help from Kaelyn Green (Allison) and Madeline Pierce (Amanda). We would all like to give a warm welcome to all guests who visit the site.

Though we may be small (8 members to be exact) we are very active and intend on keeping it that way. All of us here are Harry Potter fans which was one of the main reasons why I created this site. I have been rping for about 6 years now and I decided to begin a fresh new role play site. A reminder that we are an intermediate site which we require that if you rp you must at least post with a minimum of 2 paragraphs when you role play.

We are very friendly here and open arms to all new guests and members. We are very well informed that we look small and may be a reason why no one joins but mind that all sites start off that way and no site would be as big as it is if a member didn't join here and there. We will answer any and all questions you may have whether you are guest or new member so do not be afraid or too intimidated to ask us anything.

A couple reminders however. This is a Post-Potter site meaning this takes place after the Battle at Hogwarts in 1998. It is currently 2011 here and things at Hogwarts are changing slowly. The plot as you may see to the left of the site explains that death eaters are coming out of hiding which raises questions to many wizarding families and the ministry. This means we will be in need of some wizarding adults to play death eaters for the plot. As well as Order of the Phoenix members as well. More on the plot which you will find ::HERE:: explains that Bellatrix may not be dead as we thought. We will need requiring a Bellatrix and a Teddy Lupin as well in order to officially begin the plot.

Another reminder is that we will be in need of Canon Characters. Please note that this is 2011 therefor Lilly, James and Albus Potter, Rose and Hugo Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy have yet to start their Hogwarts journey. They will be open in the future. At the moment we have open Teddy Lupin, Victoire Weasley, Bellatrix Lestrange, George Weasley, Minerva McGonagall, Rubeus Hagrid, Neville Longbottom and many more. The Canon Character registration template can be found ::HERE:: Please note that though other characters from the books may not be listed on the registration format, they are still available to be taken. Just request the character and fill out the registration form and we will accept the character

Also, we are in real need of teachers. Teachers will be needed to teach the classes here at Hogwarts. All students are starting out as First Years, Second Years or Third Years. This gives members who play teachers time to get used to rping as a teacher and used to teaching a class before we decide to give O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s exams. We also have available jobs for Diagon Alley shoppes and Hogsmeade jobs as well. Any thing else on the site that is out side of rping may be posted in the OOC Boards (Out Of Character boards)

We are really looking forward to advancing this site and making it the best it can be. We are open to any and all suggestions any guest or member may have that can help improve our site more.
